IICIS Conference

Since its inception in 2018 The International Indonesia Conference on Interdisciplinary Studies (IICIS), IICIS has grown into a respected multidisciplinary platform where scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers gather to exchange ideas, share research findings, and propose solutions to both regional and global challenges. Each edition of IICIS has explored timely and pressing issues through an interdisciplinary lens:

  • 1st IICIS (2018) – State and Digital Society
The inaugural conference addressed the evolving dynamics between governance and digital technologies, setting the stage for IICIS’s ongoing commitment to interdisciplinary dialogue.
  • 2nd IICIS (2021) – Migration, Gentrification, and Environmental Challenges: A Global South Perspective
This edition expanded the conversation to include the lived realities of the Global South, particularly in the face of urban transformation and environmental change.
  • 3rd IICIS (2022) – Digital Transformation and Agile Governance: Government, Business, and Society in the Contemporary World
